The Donald doesn't name exactly who he's addressing, but the tweets follow attacks on Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar (both women of color) saying he “doesn’t even know where they came from.”
So interesting to see “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly......— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 14, 2019
....and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how....— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 14, 2019
....it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 14, 2019
Of course three of the four Democratic Congresswomen whom Trump is attacking were born in the United States. The other came here at age 10. https://t.co/MoBsYaT4aR— Bill Kristol (@BillKristol) July 14, 2019
Three of the four congresswomen of color Trump attacked this morning were born in the United States.— Mikel Jollett (@Mikel_Jollett) July 14, 2019
To be perfectly clear, he’s not saying the only “real” US citizens are people who were born here.
He’s saying the only “real” US citizens are white.
When @realDonaldTrump tells four American Congresswomen to go back to their countries, he reaffirms his plan to “Make America Great Again” has always been about making America white again.

Hey @realDonaldTrump: What makes America exceptional is we are a nation of immigrants. As an immigrant who served on active duty, I am appalled you are telling us to "go back."— Ted Lieu (@tedlieu) July 14, 2019
I'm not going back. America is our home. And I will still be in Congress after your racist ass leaves. https://t.co/GHNkTlBEJr
