Ultra-conservative Sen. Ted Cruz wins 2013 Values Voter Summit straw poll

Sen. Ted Cruz won the 2013 Values Voter Summit straw poll with 42%.  Rick Santorum came in a distance second at 13%.

It should be noted that past "winners" of the same presidential straw poll include Sen. Ron Paul, Gov. Mike Huckabee and Gov. Mike Pence.  And we all know how those "presidential" campaigns ended.

Interesting that the Values Voters, many of whom refuse to believe in the "authenticity" of President Obama's presidency because they don't believe he was born in the USA are content with a ultra-conservative politician born in Canada.
