Photographer Richard Renaldi - "Touching Strangers"

As part of their continuing series "On the Road," Steve Hartman meets New York photographer Richard Renaldi who asks strangers on the street to pose as though they're couples, friends or family.

I wrote about this a few weeks ago. Click on that link to see more of Richard's efforts on this "work in progress."  Richard's portraits show a "humanity of the moment" that I think is really striking.

I love Richard's work and can't wait for the rest of the world to see this project.

Find more on Richard at his blog.

  1. I saw this story when it originally ran. I was so impressed at the idea and the courage of those who were recruited for the project.
