Pew Poll: 72% of Americans see marriage equality as "inevitable"

Pew Research shares the results of a new survey:

• 72% of Americans say that legal recognition of same-sex marriage is “inevitable”
• 51% of the public favors same-sex marriage, while 42% are opposed
