NYC: The Statue Experiment



YouTube user Jeff Greenspan felt that the statue "Human Statue (Jessie)" (2011) by Frank Benson on display in the Meatpacking District wasn't getting the attention it deserved.

So, he placed a tip jar at its feet.

And guess what happened next...?

    I can not believe this. I was on the Highline with my son and the guy next to us put his hat there. same thing happened. everyone was sure the statue was real. clever but my guy didn't record it. LOL
