Boy Scouts of America approve lifting ban on openly gay scouts


The Boy Scouts of America voted today 61% to 38% to approve a resolution lifting a ban on gay scouts.  Over 1,400 volunteer leaders took part in the vote.

The current ban on openly gay scout leaders remains in effect.
