Backstreet Boys are really showing us some new sides of themselves in the new music video for "Show 'Em (What You're Made Of)."

Brian and A.J. strip down giving us some shirtless views in the intimate new video, which also serves up some Nick Carter biceps.

Backstreet Boys new video, "In A World Like This," features marriage equality

Backstreet Boys premiered the video for their new single “In A World Like This” on Good Morning America today (July 18), and the visual deals with some surprising themes.

Mixed in with shots of the guys singing on a gorgeous Western vista are scenes of couples watching TV as three historic moments happen: the 1969 moon landing, 9/11 and the legalization of same-sex marriage.

“BSB wants to show our support for the LGBT community and we believe that two people of the same sex should have the right to get married,” A.J. McLean explained to GMA. “The concept of the video is based on the song, which tells a story of how love conquers all and ‘in a world like this’ that we live in, with all the craziness and negative energy that can go around, with real love you can overcome anything.”

Available July 30th.

Backstreet Boys on Good Morning America today

The Backstreet Boys were back on Good Morning America today for their first TV appearance all together since 2006!  While they've been touring for a while, they've done it without Kevin Richardson who decided to retire a few years back.  But now they're back together and sounding great.

Famous for always wearing shades, AJ McLean stayed true to his style being the only "boy" to wear cool John Varatos sunglasses for the performances.   I'm a Backstreet fan and a Varatos fan!

Big Time Rush beats One Direction in Parade Magazine poll

Big Time Rush, on the cover of Parade Magazine, beat out One Direction in the magazine's first "boy band" poll.

Back in the 90s, I was a big fan of the "boy band" music with 98 Degree, N'Sync and Backstreet Boys. I'm not as familiar with the new crop of bands, although from what I've been hearing I thought One Direction was pretty much the top dog these days. Guess I was wrong...

Any "boy band" fans out there?
