If you want to check in on exactly what LGBT youth have to cope with in today's high schools, here's just one example.
Boy Culture points up this video from a high school student
“More people are coming into the ninth grade that are gay. I’m also going to call them fa**ots, and if that offends you, unfriend me on Facebook because I really don’t care. And it’s not so much that they’re gay, it’s that they are flashing their gayness to everybody, and that’s the part that’s pissing me off.”
“To be honest with you, I don’t think most people want to see that, because it’s not that accepted — it’s really not.”
“I don’t want to see two little queers walking down the hallway grabbing each other’s butts. I just can’t take that — that’s disgusting to me.”
"And if you don't stop complaining about seeing guys grabbing their girls butts, or girls grabbing their guys butts, or whatever, being, you know... normal. Then I'm gonna have a problem with it. You can call me homophobic if you want to, cause I'm against that stuff."
Ok, you're a homophobe, pal. And you need to grow up. You just spent five minutes of your life putting this screed on video and then bothered to upload it to the internet.
I've never heard gay kids complain about straight kids acting straight. In my entire life.
I'm thinking you're the one who wants attention. And maaaaaaaaybe that's because you might be in denial since it's been proven a lot of homophobia is borne out of a need to deny one's own issues with sexuality.
Here's hoping you get some help. #YouveGotToBeTaughtToHate
