Just when you thought something would be off-limits in Donald Trump's twisted campaign for the White House - this happens.
While pushing a baby stroller in Chicago, Chicago Bulls star Dwyane Wade's cousin, Nykea Aldridge, was violently killed when she was caught in the middle of a gun fight.
Wade shared his anger and raw emotions on Twitter:
"My cousin was killed today in Chicago. Another act of senseless gun violence. 4 kids lost their mom for NO REASON. Unreal. #EnoughIsEnough," the NBA star tweeted.
Exactly as he has done in the past when tragedy has occurred, Donald Trump used the event to prop himself up in some way rather than express sympathy, empathy or some kind of human emotion. Trump doesn't even take the time to spell Wade's name correctly. See his tweet at the top of this post.
"Dwayne Wade's cousin was just shot and killed walking her baby in Chicago. Just what I have been saying. African-Americans will VOTE TRUMP!"
As many know, after the terror attacks in Nice, Paris and Orlando, Trump demonstrated the same insensitive behavior for political gain.
Hours later, a non-sociopathic human being grabbed his phone and followed up with this - attempting some sense of humanity:
My condolences to Dwyane Wade and his family, on the loss of Nykea Aldridge. They are in my thoughts and prayers.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 27, 2016
Folks were not amused on the Twitter:
I've lived 40 years as a black man in America, @realDonaldTrump. Seen many politicians exploit us. Never seen someone do it this crudely.— Jamil Smith (@JamilSmith) August 27, 2016
.@realDonaldTrump what in the everlasting fuck is wrong with your mind— Adam Weinstein (@AdamWeinstein) August 27, 2016
@realDonaldTrump SO DISRESPECTFUL!!! No condolences! Using that woman's death as your own political gain. @angela_rye @Bakari_Sellers— Rochelle Ritchie (@RochelleRitchie) August 27, 2016
"My sympathies go out to their family. We must work to end this violence" would be a tweet for an actual human. https://t.co/E7FplTyFlS— Adam Smith (@asmith83) August 27, 2016
1) You’re celebrating/politicizing this death instead of mourning it or offering condolences. 2) His name is Dwyane. https://t.co/fFTDCDGjiL— bsteels (@bsteels) August 27, 2016
