Economy Adds 151K Jobs In January - Unemployment Drops To 4.9%

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported this week that the U.S. economy added 151,000 jobs last month, bringing the unemployment rate to 4.9% - the lowest unemployment rate in 8 years.

You'll recall that in 2012 GOP candidate Mitt Romney promised to bring unemployment down to 6 % by 2017.

Obama got to under 5% a year earlier. Just saying...
