Gay Cuban-American poet Richard Blanco reads his poem “Matters of the Sea” commissioned for the ceremony held today at the reopening of the U.S. Embassy in Havana.

Blanco became the first openly gay poet to read commissioned work at a presidential inauguration in 2012.
