Ireland's marriage equality referendum will be held on May 22.
The citizens of Ireland will be add this line to existing law: “Marriage may be contracted in accordance with law by two persons without distinction as to their sex.”
Although polls show upwards of 70% of Irish voters support the legislation, proponents aren't taking chances.
Many campaigns are underway like this one from BeLonG To Youth Services encouraging people to bring family members to the polls.
