Every Senate Republican just voted against equal pay for women

The US Senate held a vote on legislation that would require employers to be more transparent about wages and prohibit them from retaliating against workers who raise concerns about pay.

The vote was 53-44.  No Republican voted for the measure.   Sen. Angus King of Maine,  an independent who caucuses with the Democrats, voted against the bill.
