We get our first look at the official movie poster for the upcoming "Stonewall."
After all the furor last month about the lack of diversity in the initial trailer, it's interesting to note how very diverse the cast appears here.
Director Roland Emmerich says the look and feel are a conscious design choice to reach back to the time and emotion of the late 1960s:
"This image famously used by the Gay Liberation Front in 1970 was my inspiration for the STONEWALL poster. It perfectly captures the triumphant, jubilant feeling of the time.”
