• Madonna celebrated the 30th anniversary of the release of her mega-hit, "Like a Prayer," yesterday. The actual date was Sunday, but apparently Madge was 'blocked' from posting then.

The Queen of Pop writes: "30 years ago today I released Like a Prayer and made a video that caused so much controversy because I kissed a black saint and danced in front of burning crosses! I also made a commercial with PEPSI that was banned because my video was seen as inappropriate. Happy Birthday to Me and Controversy! #likeaprayer meant to post this yesterday but was blocked! what a shocker!"

Nevada Assemblywoman Michele Fiore Is Good With Putting A Bullet In The Heads Of Syrian Refugees

(photo via Ms. Fiore's 2015 calendar)
Nevada state Assemblywoman Michele Fiore raised eyebrows last week when, shortly after the San Bernardino shooting, she released a "holiday" photo depicting her entire family armed to the hilt with guns and assault weapons.

Timing, Ms. Fiore, timing.

Now, the Daily Mail reports that on her weekly radio show, Fiore said she is so opposed to the idea of taking in any Syrian refugees that she's

“What–are you kidding me? I’m about to fly to Paris and shoot ‘em in the head myself!”

“I am not OK with Syrian refugees. I’m not OK with terrorists. I’m OK with putting them down, blacking them out, just put a piece of brass in their ocular cavity and end their miserable life. I’m good with that."

The rootin tootin gun slinger is currently running for Congress to represent my fair state. SRSLY.

I should add that she is the CEO of a healthcare company and says cancer is a "fungus" that is treatable by flushing our systems with baking soda.  I'm not making this up.

Listen to Fiore's tough gun talk below:

Today In Embarrassing Christmas Cards: Nevada Assemblywoman Michelle Fiore

From my home state of Nevada, Nevada Assemblywoman Michele Fiore shows her worldly wisdom in sharing her Christmas greeting to the world - complete with just about every family member armed with assault weapons - just days after the mass shooting violence in California.

The photo is captioned:

“It’s up to Americans to protect America. We’re just your ordinary American family.- With love & liberty, Michele.”

Additionally, she identifies each and every weapon in the pic.

Nothing says "Merry Christmas" quite like a 5 year old bearing a Walther P22, no?

Army Warns Recruiters: Treat Armed Civilians At Security Threat

I know I would feel safer with this crew standing guard

Earlier today an armed civilian who appointed himself as a guard for a military recruitment center in Lancaster, Ohio, was ordered off the property after he accidentally discharged his rifle on Thursday.

No one was injured.

Christopher A. Reed, 28, of Lancaster, was charged with discharging a firearm in the city limits, and was issued a summons to appear in Fairfield County Municipal Court on Tuesday, after he accidentally fired his AR-15 rifle.

The shopping-center owner issued a statement saying it was decided that “for the safety of tenants, customers and construction personnel working in the immediate vicinity of the Military Recruiting Center, it would be best to request the removal of the armed individuals.”

Because, after all, what could POSSIBLY go wrong?

According to Stars and Stripes, Army has warned its recruiters to treat gun-toting civilians gathering at centers across the country in the wake of the Chattanooga, Tenn., shooting as a security threat.

Soldiers should avoid anyone standing outside the recruiting centers attempting to offer protection and report them to local law enforcement and the command if they feel threatened, according to a U.S. Army Recruiting Command policy letter issued Monday.

Armed citizens — some associated with activist groups and militias — were standing vigil outside recruiting centers in Wisconsin, Georgia, Tennessee, Idaho and elsewhere this week, saying they want to provide protection to servicemembers barred from carrying firearms on duty.

Four Marines and a sailor were killed by Mohammad Youssef Abdulazeez, a 24-year-old Kuwait-born resident of Tennessee, during an attack Thursday on a strip mall recruiting center and a Navy facility that is being investigated as an act of terrorism.
