Jessica Simpson Wants Some "Fifty Shades Of Johnson" Attention

Jumping on the "Fifty Shades of Grey" bandwagon this past weekend, Jessica Simpson (remember her?) posted this sexy-ish pics to her Instagram account with her hubby Eric Johnson with the hashtag

Someone wants some public attention, it seems.

Jessica Simpson's TV series cancelled

NBC decides to NOT renew the Jessica Simpson fashion series:

At the Television Critics Association press tour, NBC Entertainment President Bob Greenblatt confirmed that the struggling competition series would be ending its short run.

NBC’s version of Project Runway was more business-oriented, with contestants also being judged by buyers from Macy’s, Saks Fifth Avenue and H&M. Each week, aspiring designers put their collections up for grabs by any of the retailers; if your clothes weren’t sold, then you were up for elimination. The trio of mentors could save one contestant, while another one would be eliminated by the buyers. The winner of the competition received $6 million. By the second season, however, the prize got knocked down by a few million bucks and the judges decided to split up their mentoring duties. Elimination rules also changed so that Simpson, Richie and Varvatos were charged with choosing two contestants to be up for elimination, with the buyers ultimately choosing one . Confused, yet?

Fashion Star was bumped from day to day on the NBC schedule, eventually settling in on the Friday schedule. Unfortunately, the series finale only managed to muster up 2.5 million viewers. As Heidi Klum would say, “Auf weidersehen.”

I don't know why, but this immediately strikes me as one more sad attempt by Jessica's father Joe Simpson to pimp out his daughter.  I don't know why she would see the need to do this.

Jessica Simpson's ex-hubby Nick Lachey remarried in July, but Jessica is in no rush to say "I do" to fiance Eric Johnson. Although it's been over 10 months since Johnson, 32, proposed, insiders tell the new Us Weekly -- on stands Friday -- that all wedding plans have been put on hold.

"Everything is up in the air," a source tells Us. "She can't figure out what kind of day she wants. Some days she wants a big wedding in Hawaii, then other days she wants something closer to home."

But some of the 30-year-old singer's friends fear the delay is due to more than just venue indecision. "She was so gung ho about planning their wedding, and now she's gone dark," says a pal. "She won't commit to a date."
