Ryan Reynolds Epic Screen Kiss With Conan O'Brien

Ryan Reynolds dropped by CONAN to promote his new project, but he gets a bit cheeky playing a game with the audience asking them to guess the project.

Along the way he throw out a few red herrings like a new like of underwear made of ham; an album of children's songs about Civil War wounds; and a parenting book titled 10 Easy Steps to Lower Your Child’s Self-Esteem.

In the end, Ryan reveals his new movie, complete with an over the top screen kiss with Conan.

Patrick Stewart Gives Lessons In Kissing To Conan O'Brien

Patrick Stewart and bestie Sir Ian McKellen recently shared a kiss on the red carpet for the premier of McKellen’s latest film, Mr. Holmes.

Last night, chatting up the 75-year-old actor, Conan O’Brien brought the kissing episode up.

Said Stewart, “Ian isn’t the only one. I don’t want you to think I am a one-man guy!”

Opening the door to more specific possibilities, Stewart asked O’Brien, “Do you want to try it out? You were looking at me in a way that I recognize.”

And Stewart moved in for the kill :)

O’Brien was feeling the moment, afterwards saying, “That was fantastic! I felt passion. you’re an iconic actor, a great man, and we kissed, and I felt like you suddenly accepted me as your better!”

O'Brien added, “Who says it should be unacceptable for heterosexual men to kiss each other on the lips. I say it should be commonplace!”

Barney Frank No Fan Of The Underwoods: "I Would Ban House Of Cards From Being Shown"

Openly gay retired elder statesman of Congress, Barney Frank, stopped by Conan last night and chimed in on the recent kerfuffle over Indiana's Religious Freedom Restoration Act:

“In Indiana the calvary arrived, by which I mean the business community. In America, it’s nice to have the morally committed people on your side, but when the profit motive comes into the fight then you’re in great shape.”

It also seems that Frank is not a fan of the Netflix hit series HOUSE OF CARDS, saying “I’m a great believer in free speech and I defend the right of people to say obnoxious things about me and everybody else, but if I was going to make an exception, I would ban House of Cards from being shown.”

Conan: Hot, Shirtless Muscle Stagehands Complain

New sketch from Coco - "Stagehand Complaints."

The casting director is pretty cute here. And then there's the "stagehands"  :)

Methinks someone has been watching the "Nick the Gardener" shenanigans over at Ellen...

I'm not complaining.

Nick Offerman goes "Full Bush"

Nick Offerman explains the title of his new show "Full Bush" to Conan

Nick Offerman has a new show titled "Full Bush."

Apparently, the title is double entendre is a few ways.

One, meaning to dive "full-steam ahead" into a situation you may not know all the pertinent info about, a la former President George W. Bush - thus, going ahead "full Bush."

The title also references Offerman's advocacy for going “full bush”, regarding one's pubic region, and maintaining what he deems “a swampy atmosphere that’s just shy of growing fungus.”

Offerman is pretty hysterical.

Dave Franco and Conan O'Brien explore the world of Tinder

So I finally got around to watching this clip from Conan this week.  It was making it's way around the interwebs, and now I see why.  It's seriously funny.

By the way, Tinder - for those not in the know, like me - is apparently an app for heterosexuals who are "like minded,"  if you get what I mean.  And I think you do.

I'm pretty sure I have a crush thing for Dave Franco. I knew he was cute and talented, blah, blah, but his laughing through this is so authentically adorable I'm an even bigger fan.

I know, I know - it's 12 minutes long. That's a lot for me and my short attention span. But watch it.

You'll laugh.

"Don't Google Eric Stonestreet Nude"

During a visit to Conan O'Brien last night, Eric Stonestreet of the hit show "Modern Family" teaches a very valuable lesson all celebs should heed: Do not Google your name with the word "Nude" in the search.

After revealing the above Google result, Stonestreet shared a few more "internet finds" with Conan.

Photoshop is sometimes not your friend...

Jane Lynch admits to major 70s crush on pop legend Olivia Newton-John

Jane Lynch chatted with Conan O’Brien about a number of things last night on the Coco show. They spent a good amount of time talking about each other’s easy-to-manage haircuts:
Conan: I think your hair is fantastic.
Jane: Thank you, I feel the same way. I think you have, like, the best hair in Hollywood, so coming from you…
Conan: Yes, I do, yes. Yes I do.
Don't you love how deep and important the chat can get on talk shows these days?

Then moved onto more pressing matters—namely, how Olivia Newton John turned young Jane gay.

“Growing up in the ’70s, she was it for me,” Lynch explained. “’I Honestly Love You.’ I would weep to that song on the radio. And, I just loved her… I named my dog after her. My dog’s name is Olivia. I had a big lesbo crush on her, and I named my dog after her.”

I've heard this before as Olivia has guested on GLEE performing WITH Lynch, and it was at that time she shared her dog's tribute name.

Talk then turned to Newton John’s Grease co-star, heterosexual actor John Travolta. “I loved John Travolta so much that I drew pictures of him,” Lynch said. “I knew every plane of his face. I knew the dimple of his chin… the light eyes with the dark lashes. I loved him, I loved him, but I think what it is is that I wanted to be him. I didn’t want to make out with him.”

Peter Sarsgaard talks male nudity and Hollywood actors on CONAN

Peter Sarsgaard's famous for showing it all on screen, but on this appearance on Conan O'Brien he drops some Hollywood names that are famous for having "more" to show than others.

He also segues into a kind of odd story about having to shoot a nude scene with Liam Neeson that made me scratch my head.

George Takei explains the natural "gayness" of nature

Thank you Conan O'Brien for bringing "paddle expert and gay icon" George Takei on the air to set things "straight" as it were about nature and "gayness."

Now we all understand :)

Funny clip.
