The Internet Asks: Did Chicago Cubs' Albert Almora Flip Trump The Bird?

The internet is all abuzz today wondering if Chicago Cubs outfielder Albert Almora surreptitiously flipped President Trump the bird during the Cubs' White House visit today.

Almora told the Chicago Sun-Times, “I had two fingers out. I’d never do that to the president of the United States.”

SBNation zoomed in, and it's all a whole lot of nothing. Just an optical illusion. You can see his index finger outside of his pocket.

At ease, kids, at ease...

Chicago Cubs Win World Series In Dramatic 10th Inning Victory

I'm no sports writer, but my father was. I can tell you this was thrilling to watch.

Tied at the end of 9 innings in game 7, the win in the 10th was heart stopping.

And by the way...

Did you know - that in the years that the World Series went to Game 7 in presidential election years, when the National League won (Cubs), the party in the White House retained the presidency??? #YES

And if you needed just one more reason to be thrilled, how about Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta?

Cubs Pitcher Jake Arietta Goes Naked For ESPN 2016 Body Issue

Chicago Cubs pitcher Jake Arietta looks spectacular on the cover of the 2016 ESPN Magazine Body Issue

Chicago Cubs pitcher Jake Arietta looking all kinds of awesome in the all together on the cover of this year's ESPN Body Issue.

Arietta explains, though, that he had to trim down for the shoot as his normal state is pretty hirsute.

From the Chicago Tribune:

“I’m extremely hairy,” the Cubs ace says in the annual photo spread featuring athletes in the nude. “It pretty much connects from the top of my head to my toes with a nice upper body sweater/track jacket type of thing. I’m shaved right now. The chest is good, the back is pretty solidly shaven.”

"I think the beard plays a slight factor to my presence on the mound. It’s kind of part of the persona now. Everyone in Chicago embraced it, so I got to keep it. I can’t ditch it now. I got rid of it in the offseason and I got some pretty intense reactions. I told them, “Don’t worry, give me two weeks and it’ll be back.”
