TLC To Revive "19 Kids & Counting" In Spite Of Scandalous History

Here's some news you probably thought you'd never read.

TLC is reviving it's once hit show "19 Kids & Counting" in spite of the Duggar family's wide-spread scandals last year which included hiring prostitutes, infidelity and child molestation.

Via the Christian Post:

The stars of the series recently suffered through some scandals when it was revealed that Joshua Duggar took part in AshleyMadison.com, a website that serves as an online dating site for married men. With the family known as devout Christians, the news of Joshua's infidelity led to the show's cancellation.

According to Variety, the executive vice president of TLC, Nancy Daniels, recently shared some details about how the series coped with the scandals. She stated, "Every decision we've made has been done very thoughtfully and very carefully about what is in the best interests of the people involved and the network. Our first priority is making sure that there's a health and well-being of our families first and foremost. We feature stories of different families with real people and real things happen."

Fans are still interested in learning more about the rest of the family and how the scandal had affected them. With that, TLC released several episodes of "Jill & Jessa: Counting On," which showed the sisters coping with the scandal's aftermath.

After seeing the success of the short series, it was announced that TLC will be bringing back "19 Kids & Counting" to the small screen.

Throughout the show, the family was presented as the pristine, perfect "Christian" family. The picture was complete with episodes of campaigning against LGBT rights and what eventually was revealed to be hypocritical behavior.

Josh Duggar Enters Rehab After News Of Porn Star Hookup

In Touch Weekly reports that Josh Duggar is entering rehab for addiction. According to the In Touch source, Duggar's primary issue is sex addiction.

Shortly after In Touch broke the news, his family posted the following message on their website:

“We are so thankful for the outpouring of love, care and prayers for our family during this most difficult situation with Josh.

"As parents we are so deeply grieved by our son’s decisions and actions. His wrong choices have deeply hurt his precious wife and children and have negatively affected so many others. He has also brought great insult to the values and faith we hold dear.

"Yesterday Josh checked himself into a long-term treatment center. For him it will be a long journey toward wholeness and recovery. We pray that in this he comes to complete repentance and sincere change.

"In the meantime, we will be offering our love, care and devoted support to Anna and our grandchildren as she also receives counsel and help for her own heart and future. During this time we continue to look to God—He is our rock and comfort.

"We ask for your continued prayers for our entire family.”

Porn Star Danica Dillon Says She Had "Terrifyingly Rough" Sex With Josh Duggar - Twice

The hits just keep on coming for Josh "Sanctity of Marriage" Duggar, as In Touch Weekly drops the latest news about the former 19 Kids and Counting star.

A porn star named Danica Dillon has come forward with details about two sexual encounters Josh Duggar had with her. Apparently, the two occasions occurred when Josh's wife, Anna, was pregnant with their fourth child.

From In Touch Weekly:

Danica — who passed a polygraph test conducted for In Touch by a top certified polygrapher on Aug. 24 — details her two sexual encounters with Josh in the new issue of +In Touch+, on newsstands now. The first occurred after Josh approached her at the Gold Club in Philadelphia, where she was performing, in mid-March and the second only a month later when Danica was performing at Creekside Cabaret in Colmar, Pa.

“He walked into the Gold Club like a normal patron and said he’d been a fan for a long time and has watched my career grow — he even said from before my boob job until recently — and that he loved watching my very first scene on [an adult website],” she tells In Touch. “Then it got creepy.”

After watching her show and "eyeballing me," Danica says he bought $600 in private dances and then “asked me how would he be able to spend the evening with me.” She reveals to In Touch that Josh was violent with her when they had sex, he did not use protection and gave her thousands of dollars after their encounters.

Danica admits she “took the opportunity because Josh offered to gift [her] $1,500.” But soon after Josh arrived at her hotel room, things got rough.

“He was manhandling me, basically tossing me around like I was a rag doll,” Danica, whose real name is Ashley Lewis, and although the sex was consensual, “It was very traumatic. I’ve had rough sex before, but this was terrifying.”

Josh, identified as one of the cheating spouses in the Ashley Madison hack, confirmed in a statement that he was unfaithful and had a pornography addiction: "I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the Internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife."

“I think that after I come out, there will probably be plenty more girls after me," Danica tells In Touch. “I actually really hope that his wife leaves him and takes his children away from him and leaves him a lonely, bitter man. I don’t think he deserves happiness.”

Josh Duggar's Brother-In-Law Wants His Sister Out Of Marriage With "That Pig"

A new week, a new bit of scandal for the Duggar clan.

Word is that Josh Duggar's brother-inlaw, Daniel Keller, is over the fast and furious debacles constantly spiraling in the news (Ashley Madison accounts, hidden Facebook pages)  and wants his sister out of her marriage with - as Keller refers to Josh - "that pig."

While Anna says she's not going anywhere, her brother took to Facebook over the weekend to make clear his position.

Via Raw Story:

On Sunday, Jessa Duggar Seewald, Josh’s sister, posted a verse from the Christian Bible’s Gospel of John to Facebook, which read, in part, “But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, and we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

“If we confess our sins,” it said, “he is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

In the comments, Keller wrote, “You have to confess and forsake your sin to have mercy. Not sin confess and repeat.”

“Think for a min about the victims,” said Keller in response to a comment left on his post. “Tell me how you would feel if someone cheated on your sister and brought so much disgrace to you and ur family.”

Elsewhere, he wrote, “Confessing and getting caught are two different things. You want to know what happens when you cover ur sin maybe you should go read ur bible instead of beating people over the head with it.”

Thinking about the way his sister has been wronged by Josh Duggar, Keller said, makes him “sick”.

“I have told her I would pay for her to move out here w me and pay for her kidz. I don’t think josh will see that this is a big deal and be truly broken till that happens,” he said.

“I told her I would go get her and her children stay w me. She said she’s staying where she’s at. But I won’t stop trying to get that pig out of our family,” Keller concluded. “I tell you who I don’t give a s— about is that pig she calls her husband.”

More Duggar Scandal - Josh Duggar Had Secret Facebook Page

According to RadarOnline, there's still more in the Josh Duggar sex scandal closet.

Now, it appears that in addition to his Ashley Madison accounts and admitting to being "unfaithful" to his wife, RadarOnline has found a secret Facebook page attributed to Josh Duggar where he follows and is "friends" with lingerie models and strippers.

Josh admitted to signing up for cheaters website Ashley Madison with the email address joesmithsonnwa@gmail.com, and there is a Facebook account registered to that address under the name Joe Smithson.

According to the profile, “Smithson” was posting on the site as far back as 2004 — four years before Josh married Anna.

“Smithson” is friends with 32 women, mostly attractive and young, and from the area of Arkansas where he lived before leaving for a political career in Washington, DC.

He’s also a follower of a dancer at Sensations Gentleman’s Club in Arkansas, a lingerie model, and a curvy blonde blogger.

According to the profile, Smithson was active on the site as recently as January 2014, one year after Duggar began working with the Family Research Council.

Josh Duggar Admits To Hypocrisy And "Double Life"

Josh Duggar of 19 Kids and Counting fame
In the aftermath of yesterday's reports that Josh Duggar, of 19 Kids and Counting fame, had two accounts on the "cheaters" dating website Ashley Madison, he has posted an "apology" of sorts.

In the post, Duggar admits that he is a HUGE hypocrite (he actually uses the word "biggest") for his accusations and attacks of moral outrage over other's behaviors while he has lived a "double life."

Posted to the Duggar family website:

I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife.

I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him.

I brought hurt and a reproach to my family, close friends and the fans of our show with my actions that happened when I was 14-15 years old, and now I have re-broken their trust.

The last few years, while publicly stating I was fighting against immorality in our country, I was hiding my own personal failings.

As I am learning the hard way, we have the freedom to choose to our actions, but we do not get to choose our consequences. I deeply regret all hurt I have caused so many by being such a bad example.

I humbly ask for your forgiveness. Please pray for my precious wife Anna and our family during this time.

Josh Duggar

Duggar and his entire family have spent years attacking and working against the rights of LGBT folks.

Specifically, Josh was executive director of the anti-gay hate group Family Research Council’s lobbying arm for two years. That came to an end this past May, in the wake of a molestation scandal in which he admitted to sexually abusing two of his younger sisters as a teenager.

As I always say, "Ye who protesteth the loudest, do it the mosteth!"

Duggan Family 'Heartbroken' Over Cancellation Of "19 Kids And Counting"

According to People.com, the Duggar family is "heartbroken" their TV series on TLC has been canceled.

The source says the evangelical Christian family, who often discussed their religious faith on their TLC show, is "heartbroken that they've now lost that platform."

"The Duggars want to return to TV because they truly believe it was part of God's plan for them to spread the word about their faith," the source says.

"I think Jim Bob and Michelle honestly did expect people to just move on from this," the source adds. "Their thinking is, they put this behind them ages ago, so why wouldn't the rest of the world?"

I'm certain the money and fame had nothing to do with wanting to be back on TV.

I guess the family thinks it's unfair that after you've positioned yourselves as 'morally superior' for ten years, the world won't let you forget that your son touched your daughters and others in "inappropriate" ways.

Non-Family Victim Prepares To File Civil Lawsuit Against Josh Duggar

The Duggar family molestation story returns to the headlines as it seems a non-Duggar family victim is preparing to file a civil lawsuit against Josh Duggar.

The shocking development means that Josh and his parents Jim Bob and Michelle could be forced to give depositions and testify about Josh’s molestation scandal. The Duggars likely will have to answer every question as they will not be able to invoke their Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination because the criminal statute of limitations has expired.

The family is once again under investigation the Department of Human Services and the fate of their reality show 19 Kids and Counting is still undecided.

The impending lawsuit sets up a nightmare scenario for TLC: if the network brings back 19 Kids and Counting, the show could be on the air while the Duggars are fighting a lawsuit that exposes all of Josh’s secrets surrounding the molestations and how the family covered it up.

Duggar Sisters On Molestation Scandal: It Was Just Mild Touching Mostly While The Girls Were Asleep

Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald spoke to Megyn Kelly of Fox News last night regarding the ongoing scandal surrounding their brother Josh Duggar, who sexually abused the two of them (and three other girls) back when Josh was a teenager.

The long and short of the appearance is the sisters say Josh Duggar's behavior wasn't all that bad because it was just "mild inappropriate touching on fully clothed victims; most of it while girls were sleeping."

And they totally forgive him.

Jill Dillard:

"I think in the case of what Josh did, it was very wrong. I'm not going to justify anything he did or say it was okay or permissible. But I do want to speak up in his defense against people who are calling him a child molester or pedophile or rapists. That is so overboard and a lie really. People get mad at me for saying that, but I can say this. I was one of the victims. I can speak out and set the record straight here."
Jessa Seewald:

"I was one of the victims so I can speak out."

"In Josh's case, he was a boy, young boy in puberty, and a little too curious about girls and that got him into some trouble. And he made some bad choices, but really the extent of it was mild inappropriate touching on fully clothed victims. Most of it while girls were sleeping."

"MOST of it?" So some of it was while someone WASN'T sleeping?

Most teenagers look at a Playboy, watch porn or make out with a girl when they are "curious."

Whoopi Goldberg Is Not Buying The Duggars Application For Forgiveness

After Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar talked a lot with Megyn Kelly about their son Josh admitting he molested his younger sisters and how they turned to God to find the forgiveness in their hearts to move past it, some of the hosts of The View had really tough words for the Duggars on not applying this forgiveness equally.

Whoopi Goldberg to Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar:

“You brought God up, so it makes it okay to say this.

"You’re not forgiving of people who feel different from you, you made robo-calls about transgender people and said some really horrific stuff, so if you want to find out about forgiveness, this is not the way to do it.”

Police Report Indicates Josh Duggar Confessed On Three Occasions To Multiple Acts Of Sexual Molestation

Josh Duggar
From In Touch:
Josh Duggar confessed to his father Jim Bob Duggar on THREE separate occasions to multiple acts of sexual molestation against his sisters and a family friend, according to a new police report obtained exclusively by In Touch magazine.

The document also makes clear that Josh was 15 years old when he molested his 5-year-old sister and committed at least SEVEN acts of sexual molestation.

The new report is from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was obtained by In Touch using the Freedom of Information Act. In Touch broke the story about Josh’s dark past and previously obtained and published a Springdale Police Department report about the molestations, also by using FOIA.

With fewer redactions than the first report, the Washington County Sheriff’s document makes it clear that despite Josh’s chilling confessions the Duggars waited at least 16 months before contacting authorities about the molestations, even though the behavior was continuing and growing worse.

During that period they did not get professional counseling for Josh or his victims.

Legal experts tell In Touch that Jim Bob and Michelle could have faced six years in prison for their inaction, if the statute of limitations had not expired.

Fox News' Megyn Kelly will interview Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar tonight on her show. It will be interesting to see if Kelly brings up this new information.

Duggars To Appear On Fox News To "Share" Their Hearts, Tears And Pain On Josh Duggar Scandal

Entertainment Tonight reports that the Duggars, Jim Bob and Michelle of 19 Kids And Counting fame, will appear on Megyn Kelly's show on Fox News.

More than a week after they responded on Facebook to the under-age molestation allegations against their oldest son Josh Duggar when he was 14 years old, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar announced that they are giving their first sit-down TV interview to Fox News.

News anchor Megyn Kelly landed the highly sought-after interview with the 19 Kids and Counting parents, which she'll conduct on Wednesday, June 3, from the family's Arkansas hometown.

"Next week we will sit down with Megyn Kelly on Fox News to share our hearts with you about the pain that we walked through as a family twelve years ago, the tears we all shed and the forgiveness that was given," the Duggars wrote in a statement. "We appreciate the outpouring of love and prayers for our family at this time."

I'm sure we can count on this interview to have hard-hitting questions... (sarcasm intended).

"Ex-Gay" Activist Rants On The Josh Duggar Child Molestation Scandal

Christopher Doyle, an "ex-gay" activist write for the Christian Post today defending the ongoing Josh Duggar (of 19 Kids and Counting) child molestation scandal.

In his rant, Doyle compares the media coverage Josh Duggar is getting to how the media treated the arrest last November of one of the co-founders of the Human Rights Campaign, Terry Bean.

"Undoubtedly, the Left needed to dig up dirt against the Duggar family to discredit the family's conservative, Christian image. But for the liberal media to sensationalize this issue, and some of the articles are just vicious, is simply hypocritical, especially considering they barely mentioned the arrest of Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Co-Founder, Terry Bean, who was accused last November and charged with a felony for sexually abusing a 15 year old boy.

Did you see national headlines for weeks about this scandal of a sitting member of the Board of Directors of HRC? Of course not, because the media wouldn't dare implicate the world's largest gay activist organization.

Let's be honest, with 19 kids and Counting, is it a surprise to any of us that one of the Duggar children would struggle with sexual immorality or addiction?"

Where Doyle fails in his "comparison" is that Bean was an executive at an advocacy organization - NOT a celebrity on a TV reality show that has run for ten years with millions of viewers.

The difference in media interest between a reality celeb (whose fame hinges greatly on an image of "moral superiority") and an executive are completely understandable.

Of course both's behaviors were wrong. But the media coverage of a reality celeb caught in a hypocrisy scandal will always trump the interest in an exec.

Hulu Pulls "19 Kids & Counting"

TMZ is reporting that the online streaming service Hulu has already taken 19 Kids & Counting off their servers.

The popular streaming site was bombarded with messages from users who wanted the show 86'd in the wake of the Josh Duggar molestation scandal.

Hulu responded quickly, saying, "The show page has already been removed, and is no longer hosted on Hulu."

This puts even more pressure on TLC to make a move. As we reported, we're told the network is leaning toward cancellation, but at this point, they may not have a choice. Advertisers are fleeing in droves.

Josh Duggar Once Made An Incest Joke

Back in 2008, during an episode of 17 Kids & Counting (they had more kids since then), Josh Duggar made a joke about incest.

In light of his recent admission of fondling young girls during his teens (some of them possibly his sisters), the video clip is getting a second look. Pretty creepy when you consider his "inexcusable" behavior had occurred by this point.

From Bilerico Project:

In the Duggar family, all courting experiences must contain a chaperone. His sister Jinger couldn't chaperone him and Anna, his future wife on a date. So Josh explains that he decided to go out with two of his siblings, Jana and John. He calls it a "double-date."

"So, we chose Jana and John David - we thought why not, have a double date," Josh said. The camera then cuts back to Josh and he says, "We are from Arkansas!"

Even though Josh's joke was made about Jana and John David dating, his comments are being called into question since the video has resurfaced.

TLC Takes "19 Kids And Counting" Off Network Schedule

The Hollywood Reporter writes that TLC has pulled 19 Kids and Counting from its schedule in response to star Josh Duggar's admission that he molested several underage girls 12 years ago, including his sisters.

No word on if the network will permanently pull the plug on the reality series.

In related news,  June "Mama June" Shannon of the now defunct Here Comes Honey Boo Boo has expressed her outrage that her show was cancelled when she was merely seen in public with a known child molester, but TLC hasn't made that same decision (yet) about the Duggars show.

From Fox News:

Shannon told TMZ if “19 Kids and Counting” stays on the air, she hopes to sue TLC for shutting down her show abruptly. The man Shannon was snapped with never appeared on her reality show, she noted.

"I read that the Duggar family said this happening with their son brought them closer to God and each other. So they're saying it's O.K….?” Shannon told TMZ. “Hell no."
