Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has asked Donald Trump to postpone his State of the Union address to Congress until the Trump Shutdown is solved.

Politico reporter Rachel Bade says Democrats are not of a mind to give Trump a platform to blame them in a national address for a situation he created.

Pelosi reportedly asked that perhaps Trump could deliver his SOTU to Congress in writing.

Can you imagine? He can barely author a tweet.
