30th Annual GLAAD Media Award Nominations Announced

MJ Rodriguez (L) and Nico Santos (R)

This morning, Mj Rodriguez (Pose) and Nico Santos (Crazy Rich Asians, NBC's Superstore) announced the 30th Annual GLAAD Media Awards nominees via live-stream from the Sundance Film Festival.

As announced yesterday, Bohemian Rhapsody was removed from consideration due to fresh allegations of sexual abuse by director Bryan Singer.

I'm thinking that makes Love, Simon the front-runner for Outstanding Film - Wide Release, and that's a good thing :)

Also glad to see that conversion therapy movies The Miseducation of Cameron Post and Boy Erased earned nominations.

The GLAAD Media Awards honor media for fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of LGBTQ people and issues.

The ceremonies, which fund GLAAD's work to accelerate LGBTQ acceptance, will be held in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 28 at The Beverly Hilton, and in New York on Saturday, May 4 at the Hilton Midtown.
