High school student David Hogg (L) and Laura Ingraham (R) |
Advertisers have been fleeing in droves since Ingraham mocked David Hogg, one of the survivors of the Parkland school shooting, for getting rejection letters from colleges.
Unsurprisingly, Ingraham says she’s taking a "vacation" next week.
You'll recall when Bill O'Reilly got into hot water last year over payments to women for sexual harassment/inappropriate behavior charges, he went on vacay.
Laura Ingraham has every right to attack anyone she wants. David Hogg has every right to fight back. Her advertisers have every right to no longer sponsor her show. And FoxNews has every right to fire her. Because this is America, and that’s how things work here.🇺🇸#FireIngraham— Scott Dworkin (@funder) March 31, 2018
40 minutes into Laura Ingraham show and there have been 2 commercial breaks.— Judd Legum (@JuddLegum) March 30, 2018
Some major national advertisers sticking with her (Gillette, Advil, Progressive Insurance)
But there was also a spot from the Ad Council, which is filler for when you can't sell ads
Funny how Laura Ingraham told LeBron to shut up and dribble and now she's the one being shut up.— Denizcan James (@MrFilmkritik) March 31, 2018
The universe has a way of settling all of its accounts.
I hope this ends in the same way as Bill O'Reilly's vacation...— x - Paul Lummis (@Lummis83) March 31, 2018
