In the late 1980s, I suffered a deeply personal hurt that sent me into a downward spiral that would affect me for years.
I never blamed the person who inflicted the injury on me. He was doing the best he could.
I knew I had somehow allowed myself to be injured, and I looked for ways to mend my heart.
I credit Louise L. Hay's best seller, You Can Heal Your Heart, with helping me move through and past that hurt.
In the infinity of life where I am all is perfect, whole & complete.
Back in the day, the approach was deemed "New Age" philosophy, which over time was labeled "fake."
Today, I would assert there are worse lessons to learn in life that loving yourself leads to everything else.
RIP Louise L. Hay
