Hillary Clinton On ELLEN

A really charming, warm appearance by Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton on ELLEN yesterday.

Clip description: The presidential candidate joined Ellen in New York City! Hillary stopped by to talk about everything from Kanye to her granddaughter's first words.

A cute moment came when Ellen asked Hillary what she'd like her granddaughter to call her when she begins speaking. Hillary calmly said, "Well, I'm fine with "Grandma," I'm fine with "Madame President. Whatever strikes her..."

I've seen some comments on the interwebs claiming the appearance was "pandering." I disagree. I think voters like to get to know their politicians beyond their policy papers and stump speeches. And I've spoken to many who have spent time in Hillary's presence and everyone says her natural warmth and personality are much more obvious in those relaxed settings.

I have no problem with politicians letting their guard down for a minute and letting us see other colors of their lives.
