Poll: President Obama Back To 50% Approval Rating
In a new Washington Post/ABC News poll, President Obama has crossed the threshold to 50% approval for the first time since Spring of 2013.
Most probably due to the improving economy, the poll shows Obama with 50% approval ratings in how he's handling his job versus 44% disapproval.
He also edges out the Republicans by four points (40%-36%) on who is more trusted to cope with the nation's problems.
Also of note: even with both chambers of Congress in Republican control (the largest GOP majority in the House in 80 years), a plurality of 44% over 33% believe the new Congress will do about the same job as the last Congress.
