BusinessWeek has the story:
Demand for Jeeps is so high that Chrysler workers are clocking 60 hours a week and still can’t keep up. So according to the Toledo Blade, the company is planning on hiring up to 1,000 part-time workers—American workers, in Ohio—so they can crank out enough Jeeps to meet the demand. These workers are even going to get health insurance.
So, wait - Mitt Romney, who said the plant was closing and maybe moving to China, was wrong?
Yes.
Remember, Mitt Romney also would not have saved the auto industry. He would have let the car companies go bankrupt, losing all those jobs.
America chose right.
Forward.
