Via DigitalSpy: A spinoff from The CW's popular Arrow series, The Flash will see Gustin's Barry serving as a police scientist and secret costumed crusader in his home of Central City.
Exec producer Greg Berlanti has previously shared that the comic book drama will have "more of a sci-fi bent" than its parent series.
The Flash pilot is currently shooting. No air date has been announced as of yet.
