After yesterday's vote in the Arizona state House that approved legalized discrimination against the LGBT community, Rocco’s Little Chicago Pizzeria in Tuscon decided they could choose who THEY want to serve.

I appreciate the humor in such a horrible situation, but I think that we have to be better than those that oppose us. If my private practice were in Arizona, today I would have had a sign on the door that read, "All are welcome, including Arizonan legislators and their families."
ReplyDeleteOne other thought, It seems odd that the bill does not require business to post a list of the "kinds" to whom they would refuse service. As a consumer, I'd like to know what businesses to avoid, and it would be interesting to see how fast support for such nonsense would slip away.
