Hi Randy what are the chances of a UK release?love Olivia and would love to see this film over here
ReplyDeleteThe early word about the movie is very very good. What it will depend on - and a lot of people don't know this is how things work - is getting a UK distributor to pay to distribute the movie. I'm hearing there are some "bidding wars" going on already in some countries, so that's a good sign.
ReplyDeleteSo, that a long way to say: it completely depends on each country having a distributor "buy" the movie to show in that country. I know Olivia is very popular in the UK so I'd be surprised if it didn't happen. Plus with Stephan Elliot directing after the huge success of "Priscilla" I can't see it not happening. Just a matter of when I would think.
Thanks Randy, thats very hopeful news, will keep my fingers crossed, will be great to see Olivia on the big screen again, she is amazing, wish I could speed up the process, cant wait to see this film as I loved the trailer
