President-elect Donald Trump |
President-elect Donald Trump made a slight course correction today after trashing the U.S. intelligence community with tweets over the last few weeks, and recently siding with Wikileaks founder Julian Assange on the issue of Russia's recent cyber-hacking during the presidential election:
Julian Assange said "a 14 year old could have hacked Podesta" - why was DNC so careless? Also said Russians did not give him the info!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 4, 2017
"@FoxNews: Julian Assange on U.S. media coverage: “It’s very dishonest.” #Hannity pic.twitter.com/ADcPRQifH9" More dishonest than anyone knows— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 4, 2017
Now he says he's a "big fan" of the U.S. "intelligence" community (so why the quotations around the word "intelligence?"):
The dishonest media likes saying that I am in Agreement with Julian Assange - wrong. I simply state what he states, it is for the people....— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 5, 2017
to make up their own minds as to the truth. The media lies to make it look like I am against "Intelligence" when in fact I am a big fan!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 5, 2017
On a related subject, last weekend Trump promised he would share with America on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week the secret info only he knows about hacking.
We are still waiting...
