Donald Trump magnanimously tweets this morning that he will be "leaving my great business in total in order to fully focus on running the country."
Thus is not a blind trust.
For clarity, a blind trust is a financial arrangement in which a person in public office gives the administration of private business interests to an independent trust in order to prevent conflict of interest. Under the trust, the owner does not know how the assets are managed.
Does anyone really believe that Trump won't, in private conversations with his kids, inquire about business dealings?
