Poll: Hillary Leads Trump Nationwide By 6
The latest weekly poll from Reuters shows 41 percent of voters support Hillary Clinton, 35 percent favor Donald Trump, and 25 percent of voters chose “other.”
When you add Libertarian Gary Johnson and Green Party candidate Jill Stein to the mix, Trump and Clinton are tied at 37 percent, with Johnson at 5 percent and Stein at 1 percent.
What I find interesting there is it's the Libertarian candidate - not the Green Party candidate - pulling the majority of votes from Clinton. Most unhappy Bernie Sanders supporters mention voting for Jill Stein, it seems, when asked who they would support instead of Hillary.
Clinton increased her lead over Trump from last week’s Reuters poll, when she was up by 3 points with 41 percent.
The Clinton/Trump poll was conducted among 1,043 likely voters between July 25 and July 29 and has a credibility interval of 4 percentage points.
The Clinton/Trump/Johnson/Stein survey queried 1,426 likely voters and has a credibility interview of 3 points.
