New Poll: Cinton Leads Trump By 8 Points In Hypothetical Match-Up
The latest NBC News/SurveyMonkey tracking poll shows former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would beat reality show businessman Donald Trump in a hypothetical general election contest - Clinton 44 percent to Trump's 36 percent.
The same survey indicates Clinton would best Sen. Ted Cruz by 10 points - 43 percent to 33 percent.
Within their parties, Clinton leads her primary opponent Sen. Bernie Sanders by 10 points — 52 percent to 42 percent; while Trump has reached the 50 percent mark for the first time, as Ted Cruz notches only 26 percent, and Gov. John Kasich bringing in a tepid 17 percent.
