Arguably the stupidest question of many in @andersoncooper's career, properly hit by Obama #GunsInAmerica pic.twitter.com/Cim9NCEB0m

While hosting last night's Town Hall with President Obama last night on CNN, Anderson Cooper had what is easily one of his worst moments on television - and that includes anything that's happened on New Year's Eve with Kathy Griffin.
With a straight face, Cooper asked the President if it would fair to call ridiculous claims that Obama wants to take guns away from law-abiding Americans guns and impose martial law a "conspiracy" since "a lot of people really believe this deeply."
Even the president registered a moment of amazement before swatting the question away.
