Conservative Ben Carson has a gay marriage compromise - Gays can't marry

Now, here's an approach from conservative activist Ben Carson that sounds fair.

In an effort to show his supreme ability to work with others, Carson generously suggests this compromise on same-sex marriage: gays can love who they want, but they cannot marry.  Also, as part of the "bargain," gays don't get to call anti-gay folks "homophobes."

Wow.  Generous.

All joking aside, it's difficult to believe Carson kept a straight face while spouting this nonsense on right wing NewsMax.

After saying that marriage has never changed form or "definition" in America (or thousands of years of world history), Carson says that trying to justify same-sex marriage is like trying to say 2+2=5.

Mmm, not quite, Mr. Carson.
