New Zealand law students parody Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" with feminist view
A group of Auckland law students got nearly 300,000 hits on YouTube with their tongue-in-cheek parody of Robin Thicke's hit song 'Blurred lines' before YouTube deleted the video.
Their video is a feminist response to Thicke's song which has drawn criticism for "blurring the lines" between consensual and non-consensual sex. The hit's promo video also features topless models, so here we get shirtless men. Hello, Mr. Right-side-of-screen...
The parody is part of Auckland University's law revue - a show of 40 skits performed at SkyCity Theatre last week.
