Sarah Palin: President Obama “writes the book on exploiting tragedy”

Sarah Palin, the former half-term governor of Alaska, gave a speech at the NRA convention Friday where she said President Obama “writes the book on exploiting tragedy” regarding the shooting tragedy in Newtown, CT.

She also stated that politicians practice the “politics of emotion” in regards to their response to tragic events. I'm guessing that's not how she saw President Bush's response to 9/11 when HE responded to a national crisis. Remember WMDs?

When she talks about "government BY the people," she's not mentioning that 90% of Americans want universal background checks on guns. Wouldn't following the will of the people be to do what the people want?
