Cyndi Lauper did the "sofa chat" thing this week with Jay Leno covering topics like her new hit Broadway show "Kinky Boots" (she wrote the score) and her
upcoming summer tour.
As a tribute to her 1983 solo debut album, "She's So Unusual," Lauper will perform all the tracks, including
Girls Just Want to Have Fun, Time After Time, She Bop, Money Changes Everything and
All Through the Night. The album's success led Lauper to a Grammy win as best new artist.
"Kinky Boots" recently opened to very strong reviews and will clearly be a contender for many theater awards this season.
