Hot on the heels of Joy Behar's announcement she'll be leaving The View comes rumors that the TV audience has grown weary of Elizabeth Hasselbeck's "views:"
US Weekly reports:
According to the source, the show's resident conservative voice is being ousted after market research revealed that she isn't popular with TV audiences.
"The viewers they polled all said she was too extreme and right wing," the insider tells Us. "People did not watch the show because of Elisabeth. So they told her yesterday her contract would not be renewed."

When reached for comment, a rep for the show told Us in a statement: "Elisabeth Hasselbeck is a valued member of The View and has a long term contract."
I have mixed feelings about this news. I don't like Elizabeth. I find her annoying and talentless. but I think out of 5 women, one of her ilk should be represented.
ReplyDeleteMy other feeling is a good one because this means that the majority of people who watch the view aren't conservative.
idk. it's a little, we know the devil we have argument. and then again, who really cares. the view is better than the talk, and i like the hot topics but in the grand scheme of things, it's low on my list of priorities. lol
