What happens if there is a tie in the electoral college?

Thanks to Towleroad for posting this - I found it fascinating.

While I knew some of this, I didn't know all the ins and outs if you play the whole possibilities down to a final conclusion.

Here's hoping President Obama clears the hurdle just fine... :)
