Susan Lucci, who has already landed a prime role in Marc Cherry's soapy pilot "Devious Maids," has just booked a recurring guest-starring spot on "Army Wives," reuniting her with former "AMC" costar Kim Delaney.
Lifetime announced that Lucci will make several special appearances in a recurring role as Audrey, the wife of a retired Brigadier General. Her first episode, "Learning Curve," airs Sunday, March 18 at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
"Army Wives" follows the adventures of a group of women living on an active army post and is currently in its sixth season. Lucci recently guest-starred on TV Land's "Hot in Cleveland.
I thought Susan Lucci was starring on another series Deadly Affairs for a cable tv show. Isn't she 65 years old??? It would be great seeing her in a comedy regularly - she would be a hoot. It's odd because she didn't seem to be so hot of a commodity when she was younger and at her peak on |AMC although she was doing movie of the week and Dallas.
