Houston mayor wins re-election

Houston mayor Annise Parker won re-election last night. Parker wins her second term as the nation's first openly gay mayor of a major US city.

    She's doing a fab job down here. Plus, not many people really know this about Houston, but there's more liberal democrats here than conservative republicans and we almost alway elect a democrat as mayor. ;) Austin and Houston are the ugly step-children of TX.
